Six Reasons Businesses Choose Us
We have spent over a decade refining our processes, building relationships with suppliers, and investing in infrastructure that sets us apart from every other tote reseller on the West Coast. Here is what that means for you.
Vertically Integrated Operations
We control the entire supply chain from collection and inspection through cleaning, reconditioning, rebottling, and delivery. There are no middlemen, no subcontractors adding cost, and no gaps in quality control. When you buy from IBC West Coast, every step of the process is handled by our own trained team at our Hayward facility. This vertical integration allows us to guarantee consistency, traceability, and turnaround times that competitors simply cannot match.
Transparent, No-Surprise Pricing
Every quote we provide is fully itemized. You see the per-unit cost, delivery charges, and any applicable fees upfront before you commit. We do not pad invoices with hidden surcharges, fuel adjustments, or convenience fees. Our pricing model rewards loyalty and volume: the more you order, the better your rate. We also offer net-30 terms for established accounts, making cash flow management easier for your business.
Deep Inventory, Fast Fulfillment
Our Hayward warehouse maintains a rolling inventory of over 3,000 totes across all grades, sizes, and configurations. This means we can fill most orders from stock and ship within 3 to 5 business days. For customers who need totes urgently, we offer expedited same-day or next-day pickup from our facility. Our inventory management system tracks every tote by serial number, grade, manufacture date, and previous contents.
Genuine Sustainability, Not Greenwashing
Our environmental commitment is not a marketing slogan. It is the foundation of our business model. Every tote we process is either reused, reconditioned, or recycled. Nothing goes to landfill. We track and report our environmental impact metrics annually, including tons of HDPE diverted from waste streams, CO2 emissions avoided through reuse, and water saved through efficient cleaning processes. We provide sustainability documentation that helps our customers meet their own ESG and corporate responsibility targets.
Industry-Specific Expertise
Our team includes specialists with backgrounds in chemical manufacturing, food processing, agriculture, and hazardous materials handling. When you call us with a question about chemical compatibility, UN certification requirements, or FDA food-grade standards, you get a knowledgeable answer from someone who understands your industry. We do not just sell containers. We advise you on the right container for your specific application, regulatory environment, and budget.
Long-Term Partnership Approach
We build relationships, not one-time transactions. Many of our customers have been with us for five or more years because we consistently deliver on our promises. We assign a dedicated account representative to every recurring customer, maintain records of your preferences and order history, and proactively notify you of inventory that matches your needs. When you work with IBC West Coast, you get a logistics partner who understands your business and anticipates your requirements.
IBC Solutions for Every Sector
From farm fields to pharmaceutical labs, IBC totes are the backbone of bulk liquid handling across dozens of industries. We supply containers tailored to the specific demands of each sector.
Agriculture
Farmers and agricultural suppliers use IBC totes to store and transport fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and liquid feed supplements. Our food-grade and chemical-resistant totes are built to handle the harsh conditions of outdoor agricultural operations, from Central Valley heat to Pacific Northwest rain. We supply totes compatible with common ag chemicals and offer bulk pricing for seasonal orders.
Food & Beverage
Wineries, breweries, juice processors, and food ingredient suppliers rely on food-grade IBC totes for storing syrups, oils, concentrates, and liquid ingredients. Every food-grade tote we sell is cleaned to FDA standards, swab-tested for residue, and documented with a certificate of cleanliness. We understand FSMA traceability requirements and can supply containers that meet your audit standards.
Chemical Manufacturing
Chemical producers and distributors need containers that meet UN certification standards for the transport of hazardous and non-hazardous liquids. We supply UN-rated composite IBC totes with valid certification dates, appropriate packing group ratings, and compatible gasket materials. Our team can advise on HDPE compatibility with your specific chemical formulations.
Construction
General contractors, concrete suppliers, and road construction firms use IBC totes for water storage, dust suppression, concrete admixtures, and form release agents. Our Grade B and Grade C totes are ideal for construction sites where cosmetic appearance is secondary to function and durability. We deliver directly to job sites throughout the West Coast.
Water Treatment
Municipal water treatment plants and private water utilities use IBC totes to store and dispense treatment chemicals including sodium hypochlorite, ferric chloride, polymer flocculants, and pH adjustment solutions. We supply chemical-compatible totes with appropriate gasket materials and can set up recurring delivery schedules to match your consumption rates.
Cannabis
Licensed cannabis cultivators and processors in California, Oregon, and Washington use IBC totes for nutrient solution mixing, water storage, extraction solvents, and waste management. We supply food-grade totes for nutrient storage and chemical-rated totes for solvent applications. Our team understands the regulatory environment around cannabis and can help you select containers that meet state compliance standards.
Automotive
Auto manufacturers, parts suppliers, and fleet maintenance operations use IBC totes for coolants, lubricants, windshield washer fluid, brake cleaner, and waste oil collection. We supply totes compatible with petroleum-based and synthetic fluids, and our recycling service ensures your spent oil and chemical totes are processed responsibly rather than ending up in a landfill.
Pharmaceutical
Pharmaceutical manufacturers require the highest standards of container cleanliness, traceability, and material compliance. We supply new and rebottled IBC totes manufactured from FDA 21 CFR-compliant HDPE resin, cleaned under cGMP-aligned protocols, and accompanied by full documentation including certificates of analysis and cleaning validation records. PTFE-lined valves are available for sensitive formulations.
From Quote to Delivery in 4 Steps
Working with IBC West Coast is straightforward. We have streamlined our process so that you spend less time managing containers and more time running your business.
Request a Quote
Tell us what you need: the quantity, size, grade, intended use, and delivery location. Submit a request through our contact form, email info@ibcwestcoast.com, or call our office during business hours. There is no obligation, no minimum order, and no charge for a quote. We typically respond within a few hours during the business day and always within one business day.
We Source & Inspect
Once you approve the quote, our team pulls the requested totes from our warehouse inventory or sources them from our network of trusted supply partners. Every tote goes through our five-point inspection process: visual check of the bottle, cage, and pallet; pressure test to verify leak-free integrity; valve function test; gasket condition assessment; and final grading confirmation. Only totes that pass all five checks are cleared for your order.
Delivery or Pickup
We arrange delivery using our own fleet for Bay Area and Northern California orders, and trusted freight carriers for shipments throughout the West Coast. Totes are palletized, stacked, and strapped for secure transit. You can also pick up from our Hayward facility at 1813 National Ave during business hours. We coordinate a loading window so your totes are staged and ready when you arrive. Most orders ship within 3 to 5 business days of confirmation.
Ongoing Support
Our relationship does not end at delivery. We provide after-sale support including technical advice on storage and handling, replacement parts for valves and gaskets, scheduled buyback pickups for your empties, and priority access to new inventory. For recurring customers, we set up standing orders and delivery schedules so your supply is automatic. Need to return or exchange? Our customer-first policy makes it simple.

Industry Insights & Updates
Measurable Environmental Impact
Every IBC tote we recondition or recycle keeps plastic out of landfills, reduces the demand for virgin petroleum-based materials, and lowers the carbon footprint of our customers supply chains. Here is how we measure our impact.
850+ Tons CO2 Avoided
Each reconditioned IBC tote eliminates approximately 35 pounds of CO2 emissions compared to manufacturing a new container from virgin HDPE resin. Across our annual volume, that adds up to over 850 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions avoided per year. We calculate this figure using lifecycle assessment data from the American Chemistry Council and EPA emissions factors for HDPE production.
40% Plastic Diverted from Waste
Approximately 40 percent of the totes we receive are diverted from landfill or incineration through our reconditioning and rebottling programs. Totes that cannot be reconditioned are disassembled and the HDPE is shredded into regrind for the plastics recycling market. The steel cage components are sent to scrap metal processors. Even wooden pallets are repaired or chipped for landscaping mulch. Our zero-landfill policy means 100 percent of incoming material is either reused or recycled.
Water-Efficient Cleaning
Our triple-wash reconditioning line uses a closed-loop water recycling system that recovers and filters approximately 80 percent of the water used in each cleaning cycle. Compared to an open-loop wash system, this saves an estimated 150,000 gallons of water per year. We also use biodegradable, phosphate-free detergents that meet EPA Safer Choice criteria, minimizing the environmental impact of our wastewater discharge.
Local Sourcing, Lower Miles
By operating from Hayward, California, in the heart of the Bay Area industrial corridor, we minimize the transportation distance for the majority of our customers. Shorter delivery routes mean lower fuel consumption, fewer emissions, and faster turnaround times. We prioritize regional sourcing from West Coast generators, keeping the tote supply chain as local and efficient as possible.
Extended Product Lifecycles
A single IBC tote can be reconditioned and reused three to five times before the HDPE bottle reaches the end of its serviceable life. After that, the bottle is replaced through our rebottling process while the steel cage and pallet continue in service for up to 15 years. This cascading reuse model extracts maximum value from the raw materials and energy invested in the original manufacture of each container.
Transparent Reporting
We provide sustainability documentation to any customer who requests it, including annual volume metrics, waste diversion rates, and estimated emissions savings attributed to their specific orders. This documentation supports corporate ESG reporting, ISO 14001 environmental management systems, and B Corp certification applications. We believe that transparency drives accountability and continuous improvement.
